Jade Irvine is an artist, writer, and curator living in nipaluna/Hobart on Palawa country, the traditional land of the Muwinina people of lutruwita (Tasmania).

Jade researched small museum object collections for her Honours thesis, writing about the Oak Lodge museum in Richmond, Tasmania. Jade was a participant in the 2022 National Gallery of Australia’s Digital Young Writers Mentorship and has written for art publications including ArtsHub, Assemble Papers, and un Magazine.

Her creative work centres on re-examining her cultural identity, as well as articulating a sense of place through landscape. She is currently working across digital mediums to produce audio and video content as part of her professional practice.
